He wasnt sure how he had gotten here. He had started out at the tipsy toga, and then somehow he had gotten talked into coming to some really great college party that was going on. The seventeen year old had said yes way faster then he had meant to. So yeah, thats probably how he got here.

Liam wasnt even sure he was still hanging out with the same people he started the night out with. It didn't bother him though, especially as he knocked back the third shot of vodka he'd taken since arriving.

Parties were not Sage's forte. It wasn't the drinking, sometimes she and Fiona would drink with some of their friends in the barracks. It was mainly the crowd. A bunch of people Sage didn't know, all crammed into one small house trying to dance to bad club music. She always would lose Fiona, and spend most of the night trying to track her down, instead of actually enjoying herself. Besides, most of the people who showed up to these things were much cooler than her. They were the proverbial jocks of Camp Jupiter, the ones who did well at fighting and had rank in their cohort. She was not a jock. Maybe she was a nerd, since she spent most of her time reading. That didn't seem to fit her either. People who were nerds didn't hang out with people like Fiona. Maybe she was just somewhere in the middle. Kinda cool, but not cool cool.

The other issue with Sage and parties, is that she would get stuck in her head. She would have mini debates on who she was and stuff like that, instead of actually like, talking to people. To keep herself from going back into another debate on why she was in her head all the time, she walked over to the refreshment table and started to pour herself a drink. That was a good first step, get started on the alcohol. She chose the spiked punch, because she wasn't about to force herself to drink beer. She'd rather enjoy what she was drinking.

Sage took a sip of her drink, before turning around to look for Fiona.

Liam knew he was probably going to regret everything in the morning. The centurion didnt get a lot of free time these days, so his alochol tolerance was kind of wimpy this specific night. He knew he was pushing it with the fourth round of flip cup, but hell his team was winning why stop now.

Come to think of it, he didn't actually know how he got over here. The table where he had taken the shots at was on the other side of the house. He pushed the curious thoughts out of his mind, and took a step backwards from the table. The drink he had just downed was way stronger than he thought it was going to be. It was supposed to be jack and coke. But Liam was pretty certsin the coke had been forgotten.

He took the step back, and collided with someone behind him.

Its party time biotches 1

It had been one of those nights where Fiona had convinced Sage to go out with her. It didn't happen as often as one would think, but every now and then they did end up at some of the parties. The daughter of Tyche had a knack for either finding a party for one or for two getting invited to them. It had been a whirl wind of events being at Camp Jupiter, but Fiona had found her way to camp and very quickly found all the hot spots and where you wanted to party, she wasn't sure if it were just because of who she is or if it had to do with the whole luck thing.

In a typical Fiona fashion as soon as she got to the party with Sage she had been whisked away. Most times someone would just grab her by the arm and ask her to come either shot gun a beer, drink from the keg, or even just pound back some shots of some kind of hard liquor. Growing up in an Irish household with all boys, you had to be good at drinking or you wouldn't survive, Fiona's family could honestly be considered alcoholics at this point.

On this night in particular, Fiona had only managed to be taking some shots with some of the guys. They wanted a rematch to the last party they were all at a couple weeks ago when she took more shots than the rest of them. This time, Fiona ended up having to take about eight shots of vodka, before she got them to tap out. There was a buzzing in her head with the slight feeling of spinning. The alcohol was rushing through her veins at this point and it was going to take some time to adjust.

The blonde held her hand on the table for a few seconds to regain her balance and new level of consciousness. All that she could hear was the shouting and hollering of various people in the house, the music that was playing, and the bits of chatter going on. She started to stand up right and began to make her way over to where she would hope she could find Sage. The girl had to push through people a few times, weaving in and out of them until it cleared up a little.

Fiona found Sage pouring some kind of punch into her drink and before she could do or say anything the girl already had a sip. Fi's hand came in and swiftly grabbed the cup from Sage, and just as she was about to open her mouth she felt herself being bumped into, which knocked the cup out of her hand and onto the floor.

"Well..." Fiona started starting at her now empty hand and then looking back over towards Sage. "I was going to tell you not to drink out of the punch bowl, but that solved the problem in itself." She shrugged her shoulders and looked at the boy who seemed slightly more intoxicated than he had been used to. "Hey, you don't get out much do you?" Fiona asked with a devilish smile.

Sage barely got to drink the punch, which she found out right away was disgusting. She didn't even have time to react before a boy knocked into her, sending her cup to the ground. It missed her, but spilled all over the floor, creating a small puddle.
"Oh no." Sage said quietly, but before she could look for paper towels, Fiona was by her side. She was thankful for that.

Still, Sage didn't want to be the person who trashes other people's houses during parties, so she pushed past partygoers to grab a roll of paper towels, returning back to Fiona's side. She wiped up the mess, before standing upright.

"I think I'm just gonna stick to soda," She said, grabbing an unopened can from the table of refreshments.

Liam turned to look at the person he bumped into. He didnt know who it was, but he was pretty sure he was too drunk to know anyone right now. "Yeah I don't... sorry..." He told her, he did actually feel bad. He usually wasn't this wild when he drank. Nights like this ususlly were once or twice a year. Liam had done a fairly good job at earning the reputation of a work-a-holic robot, as his co-centurion puts it. "Want me to get you another one?" He asked.

Typical Sage had gone to go get some paper towels to clean up the mess that was left by the punch. Fiona was used to just leaving the mess, not because she had no manners but usually because so many drinks would be spilled tonight that this one clean up wouldn't even matter in the end. Sage had mentioned something about just drinking soda and to that Fiona shook her head. "No, Sage, you don't come to a party and drink soda unless you have something in it." Fiona said as she then looked over to the boy in front of them. He clearly needed to take a break from drinking for a few minutes, so she grabbed him a bottle of water from the table.

"Here" She said as she handed the boy the bottle of water. "You need to rehydrate or you're going to hate yourself tomorrow." Fiona finished her statement and then grabbed Sage an empty cup. "Lesson one, you never drink out of the punch bowl. You don't know who has messed with it. Someone could have easily drugged it, so we're going to go find a keg or something." After speaking she handed the cup to sage and grabbed one for herself.

"Oh," Fiona said halting for a moment as she turned to the boy, "Fiona Gallagher, nice to meet you." The blonde had spoken while extending her hand out to the boy.

Sage took the cup handed to her and sniffed it, immediately regretting her decision to do so. It probably would've been easier to just drink it without inspecting, because now she immediately knew she was going to hate it. She still took a sip anyway, holding back a grimace. She hated the taste of alcohol, it disgusted her. Sure, she could handle mimosas or fruity drinks because at least they were made to taste good. Everything else just tasted like gasoline, she didn't understand it. Then again, she did drink coffee even though she knew it tasted like bitter dirt. However, she was the kind of person to throw as much flavoring in there as possible.

"Hi I'm Sage," she said after Fiona introduced herself. She forced herself to take another sip of her drink, hoping she could finish it soon so that maybe, just maybe, Fiona wouldn't make her drink another one. Or at least, maybe she would give her one that didn't make her want to die.

"Not wrong. But water might not be able to help at this point," he said. Liam tried not to think about how crappy he was going to feel in the morning. He was regretting having approved morning training into the schedule. No one should ever have to wake up before noon on a weeekend. What had he been thinking?

He shook the girls hand back, "Liam Davenport. Nice to meet you guys too." He hesitated on his last name for a moment. As much as his father was successful and powerful, he was just as much hated, mainly disliked by most of Liams peers. His name was always a gamble when it came to meeting new people.
