History (At Least Three Sentences): Anastasya was born in early spring in Kiev a little over a year after her sister. Nikolai was a low level businessman.  They were okay at first. They lived in a small two bedroom apartment, and Nikolai made enough to send Stasya and Lilya to private school. However as time went on the economy became shaky. First the girls were pulled out of private school and sent to one of the public schools in the neighborhood. Then they moved into a smaller one bedroom apartment. In 2013, Ukraine went through a revolution. Nikolai lost his job due to the recession that followed. They struggled to put food on the table, and were days away from being homeless. When a man showed up offering a thousand euros for each girl, Nikolai gave him Lilya. When Stasya came home to find Lilya gone, he told her she was sent off to be an au pair in France. On those thousand euros, they were able to last six more months. Then the same man returned, this time offering 1500 euros for Stasya. Nikolai agreed. He told Stasya she was also going to France to follow her sister into the au pair business. It took Stasya an hour to realize he was lying. When she tried to get away they hit her until she was unconscious. For the next four years she was trafficked all over europe. She saw Lilya once, in Berlin. The next day she was sold and flown to Amsterdam. Three months ago she was sold and sent to New York City, where she has stayed ever since. Recently she had been having dreams of a woman, tall and dark. She was familiar in a sense, but Stasya couldn’t place her. Then one night she got a name. Our Lady of the Underground.
