Mortal Parent: Gabriel Giroux - was a board member that was in charge of the production for the Canadian Pacific Railway. He was the finance officer and he dealt with the money and budget. Being part of the railway was always his pride and joy and he loved every minute of it. He was glad to have shared it with his daughter Corinne.

Personality: Corrine has always had a quick response to anything thrown at her. Usually those responses are loaded with more salt than a cup noodle. It always amazes people that she can have a witty response in no time. Often she has a bit of deadpan humor that will sometimes get lost on the more serious of people. It’s rather funny though, because Corrine has an issue with choosing things. You ask her her favorite color, and she has to think for a week about it. She’s always been rather bold though, very loud. You could hear her from a mile away. She is a bit judgemental, and will make her mind up about people very quickly. She does love to have fun, and loves cheap thrills. Anything that gets her heart pounding is enough for her.
Talents: Knowledge of explosives. Corinne was around them quite a bit when she was younger and she has looked into them a bit since then. Lip-reading is another talent that Rinne possesses. She can usually tell what people are saying just by looking at the movement of their lips. Last talent that Corinne has is baking. She’s loved baking since she was little and was taught to do it since a young age.

Weapon: Corinne uses a pilum that as an imperial gold tip. She also has a pugio with an imperial gold blade.
Abilities:
Fire Sensitivity: Corinne can sense fire and or heat that’s in a five meter radius.
Powers:
Cooling/Freezing: Like her mother, Chione, Corinne can make something grow colder and colder to the point where it feel like it’s burning. Corinne can also turn objects into ice.
Cyrokinesis: Corrine can manipulate ice and snow.
A hail of rock-hard ice pounds to the ground in a 20-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range.
She can create a shard of ice and fling it at one creature within range

History: Corinne Odette Giroux was born on November 7th 1875. She was born to parents Chione and Gabriel Giroux. Her father Gabriel was a man who was born and raised for the first five years of his life in Chateauguay, Quebec. He comes from a French-Canadian family and decided to give his daughter a French name.

Rinne ended up growing up moving around a lot as the railway continued to expand back east. Her father had hired a woman from China to work and take care of Rinne. The purpose for this was because it was obviously dangerous to be around the construction of the railway.

Due to her nanny being Chinese, Rinne grew up hearing a lot of the language and it began her first language, since she was rarely around her father much. The woman who took care of Corinne was named Hua. The two were quite attached to each other and when Gabriel threatened to fire Hua when Rinne was five due to his daughter not knowing English as well, Rinne stepped in and begged her dad not to fire her.

By the time Rinne was ten years old, the railway was finished and she had to say goodbye to Hua. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things she had to do. Rinne clung onto Hua sobbing begging for her not to leave, but Hua had a family to go back to and provide for, which at the time ten year old Rinne couldn’t really comprehend.

For the next year of her life her father made sure her English was up to par with where she should be and in general spent more time with her than he had. Which still wasn’t a whole lot. Gabriel was still quite busy with work, and Corinne could only dream of going out and having more adventure than she was having.

In December of 1886, Corinne was found by Lupa. From there she agreed to go off with Lupa and her wolves and she trained until January of 1887. In 1887 she finally made it to camp Jupiter and from there due to no references or anything, she was placed in the fifth cohort. By the time she reached the age of sixteen she became the centurion of the fifth cohort. In early December she was given a combat mission to go to Nunavut to retrieve something. She was gone for a year and a bit snow storm came, Rinne was able to get her and two others to safety and due to the stress levels and the cold fueling her powers, they overcharged and went haywire freezing the two people with her as well as herself.

Due to being a daughter of Chione, Corinne was able to survive the freezing she had done to herself, but unfortunately she couldn’t say the same for the people she was with. It was in July of 2016 that Rinne was conscious again and could gain control over her powers. She managed to unfreeze herself and by September she had found her way back to Camp Jupiter.

In March of 2017 Rinne was finally reinstated as Fifth cohort centurion.
